Hull City boss Nigel Adkins says new signing David Milinkovic can add another goal threat to the Tigers after officially joining the club.
As revealed this afternoon, Milinkovic has joined from Italian side Genoa for an undisclosed figure believed to be in the region of £200,000.
The 24-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the option of a fourth year and could feature in the Tigers’ first pre-season friendly against Maritimo in Albufeira tomorrow night.
“David is a talented, skilful player and we’re delighted that we’ve been able to bring him to Hull City when we know that a number of other clubs were also looking to sign him,” said Adkins.
“He enjoyed a very good loan spell with Hearts last season and he will add a further goal threat and creativity to our squad.”
Speaking after the signing, Milinkovic told the club’s official website: “I am very happy to sign for Hull City and I believe this is a very good opportunity for me.
“The Championship is a very big league and I am looking forward to training hard every day to be ready to play for this team and this Head Coach.”
