Derby eye Chelsea youngster
Derby County have are reportedly in talks to sign Chelsea youngster Kasey Palmer this summer, according to Sky Sports.
Palmer spent the latter half of last season on loan with the Rams, helping the club reach the play-offs under Gary Rowett and it seems he could be set for a return to Pride Park under new boss Frank Lampard.
The Blues have granted Derby permission to speak to Palmer this summer over a potential move, while it is believed Norwich City have also made a bid to sign the midfielder on a season-long loan.
The 21-year-old is likely to find opportunities difficult to come by at Stamford Bridge this season and therefore appears destined to move on, either on loan or permanently.
Leeds and Middlesbrough eye Bryan
Leeds United and Middlesbrough have both registered an interest in signing Bristol City fullback Joe Bryan.
According to the Bristol Post, the two Championship sides were impressed by the defender’s performances for the Robins last season, a campaign in which the 24-year-old bagged seven goals in all competitions.
However, both Leeds and Boro do face competition with Bryan consistently being linked with a move to the Premier League, such as Everton and Burnley.
The report claims Bristol are yet to receive any offers for the left-back, but having lose Aden Flint and Bobby Reid already this summer Lee Johnson will be desperate not to lose another star.
Blackburn keen on League One winger
Blackburn Rovers are reportedly interested in signing Peterborough United winger Gwion Edwards this summer.
The Daily Mirror is reporting Edwards’ dazzling performances at London Road last season has caught the eye of a number of Championship clubs, including newly-promoted Blackburn.
The winger bagged 12 assists in League One last season and with one-year left on his contract, Edwards could be set to leave the Posh sooner rather than later, despite club chairman Darragh MacAnthony claiming the club are working on a new contract for the winger.
