Big Vista music festival is coming to Pearson Park – and it looks amazing

A huge festival is coming to Pearson Park next week for another year of local music, art and entertainment.

The Big Vista Festival is being held on Saturday, July 7, offering a free day of festival excitement including main stage music acts, children’s entertainers and local stalls.

A spokesman for the Big Vista Festival said: “The festival will bring you the very best of the vast local talent on offer here in Hull, from main stage acts like the amazing funk soul group Pearls Cab Ride, the entertaining dynamic duo The Gherkins and the exciting folk band, Hillbilly Troupe.

“There will be spoken word performers, Artlink art workshops, children’s entertainers to keep the little ones occupied and face painting stalls for all.

“The Big Vista Festival is organised by passionate local partners who previously ran the VISTA and Big Gig events in the area, who this year have teamed up to bring you an action packed festival bigger and better than ever before.”

The festival will run from 1pm to 7pm, and the site has been specifically chosen in order to accommodate everyone.

“The festival is open to people from all abilities and backgrounds,” the spokeswoman said, “and welcomes anyone who is looking to have fun.”

“It has been created to keep disabled people in mind. While organizers cater for the needs of learning disabilities, the whole festival is on flat ground making it a relaxed day for wheelchair users.

“All activities such as the Hull Carnival Arts group are accessible for wheelchairs and every activity is designed to be fun for a range of abilities and ages.

“Along with great music, art and entertainment at the event there will a local stalls area where people can come and set up their stall and sell goods to the festival goers. There really is something for everyone at the Big Vista Festival.”
